| National Federation of Young Farmers Club
The National Federation of Young Farmers Club heads the 629 other Young Farmers Club located across England and Wales. This Club provides new opportunities and opens other vistas to people aged between 10 and 26. These opportunities enable members to get involved in a series of programs that develop their personal skills and take interest in the local community, which makes their social life a dynamic one. The organization holds more than 22,000 young and competent people from varied backgrounds. Apart from this, National Federation of Young Farmers’ Club holds the pride as the largest rural youth organization of its kind in the UK. National Federation of Young Farmers Club runs a department called HOPS, which runs its own program, the Seasonal Workers’ Program. The effects on Young Farmers Club by the rural affairs are pretty high, in competition or discussion or personal development. Many young people have joined hands to influence the rural agenda. The concerns of the members in the club are put forth to the government and the industry and collaborative work is undertaken by the members. National Federation of Young Farmers Club is encourages its members to publicize the work done by them in the UK to the farming industry. The Young Farmers Club also appreciates members when they actually raise funds for the charities that have been one of their major interests. Many Young Farmers Club members support the help extended by Farm Crisis Network and Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution to name a few. Apart from this, the Young Farmers Club is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, which consists of three levels, namely the bronze, silver, and gold. Each level consists of four sections involving skills, service, physical recreation and expeditions. This is a very prestigious award which is valued highly. |
